Experience Overview

IIFL Finance had a problem: their old video and a long PDF document weren't keeping people interested for very long. So, they used KappaX to change this. They made an interactive experience with personal financial goals, easy ways to click around, and smart calculators built right in.

This new way got people much more involved, helped IIFL learn what users liked, led to more applications, and made their brand stronger because people could explore things on their own.

What is an Interactive Interest Calculator?

An AI Powered Interactive Interest Calculator is a smart tool that lets you put in your own numbers (like how much money you want to invest and for how long). It then uses smart calculations to quickly show you results, all within a video or an ad. It helps you explore financial goals and understand things easily.

Campaign Goals

IIFL Securities aimed to:

  • Get more potential customers and capture their details (leads).
  • Keep people interested and engaged for a longer time.
  • Help people understand financial products better without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Make it easier for users to apply for loans.
  • Strengthen their brand by offering a helpful and engaging tool.

Overview

IIFL Finance was looking for better ways to connect with potential customers and make their complex financial information easier to understand. They realized that their single short video and a very long document weren't holding people's attention or leading to many loan applications.

Their goal was to create a more engaging, personalized experience that would simplify financial concepts, encourage deeper interaction, and boost interest in their products, ultimately leading to more loan applications.

What We Built

We created an interactive experience that felt personal and had smart financial tools. This allowed users to:

  • Input their own investment amounts and timeframes into a simple calculator.
  • Instantly see how much interest they could earn (e.g., "Interest Earned Rs 5456").
  • Easily navigate through different financial goals.
  • Click to check returns after certain tax rules (IDAF).
  • Directly apply for loans right from the interactive experience.
  • Explore other options to learn more.

How It Was Built

The exact steps we followed to create this smart interactive tool were:

  • Step 1: We uploaded the main explainer video into the content library and used it as a starting point.
  • Step 2: Then we created the design layout by adding videos, buttons, etc. We also designed a calculator where the users can check the interest earned on their investment.
  • Step 3: Once the visual layout was done, then we added basic logic and interactivity to the buttons and the calculator. Eg: “When user clicks option 1: Seek video to 40 sec and play”
  • Step 4: For the calculator, we wrote basic formulas to calculate interest earned in normal investments and interest earned on IIFL funds.
  • Step 5: Finally, we checked, tested, and published the interactive experience.

Results & Outcomes

The results were great, showing how much better the new approach was:

  • Very High Engagement: More than half the people who saw it clicked and used the tool. This shows many people were interested.
  • Many Interactions: On average, people clicked or touched the content multiple times when they used it. This means they were really looking at everything.
  • Lots of Calculator Use: Almost half of the people used the calculator. This shows they really wanted to understand their money.

This KappaX solution helped IIFL Finance turn boring content into a powerful, interactive tool. It made people much more interested, helped them get valuable user information, and strengthened their brand by letting users explore financial ideas on their own.
