Experience Overview
We helped the movie Bad Boys For Life create a complete and exciting experience for potential viewers. They used KappaX's no-code editor to build a single interactive journey that had everything a fan could want.
It started with a main screen where people could choose to explore different options like watching the trailer, getting to know the cast, or checking out a red carpet review. They could also take a fun quiz and, most importantly, book their movie tickets right then and there.
This made the movie promotion fun, informative, and very easy for people to take action.
What is an Interactive Experience?
An interactive experience is a special kind of online content that lets you click, choose, and explore different things directly. Instead of just watching a trailer or seeing a poster, you can really dive into the movie by watching clips, learning facts, playing games, and even buying tickets all in one place. It's all about making you part of the movie promotion!

Campaign Goals
Bad Boys For Life aimed to:
- Generate widespread awareness and excitement for the movie.
- Engage potential viewers with different types of content, like trailers and reviews.
- Provide fans with information about the movie's cast.
- Test viewers' knowledge and increase engagement through a quiz.
- Drive a high number of direct ticket bookings.
Objective
The team behind Bad Boys For Life wanted a more dynamic and engaging way to promote their movie than just showing trailers and posters. They wanted to create a buzz and make it as easy as possible for people who were interested to go and see the film.
The goal was to provide a one-stop shop where fans could learn, interact, and ultimately decide to book their tickets without leaving the promotional experience.
What was Built
A full-package interactive experience where a person could:
- Watch the official movie trailer.
- Read reviews from critics.
- Get to know the cast of the movie.
- Take a fun quiz after watching the trailer.
- Book tickets instantly to go see the movie.
The main screen served as a central hub, with multiple options like "Watch Trailer," "Know The Cast," and "Review," along with clear buttons to "Take The Quiz" and "Book Tickets."
The quiz interface itself was designed to be fun and engaging, asking a question like "Finish the song - 'Bad Boys, Bad Boys." Clicking "Book Tickets" from any point in the experience would take the user directly to a booking website like BookMyShow.
How was It Built
The exact steps followed to create this interactive experience:
- Step 1: Uploaded media assets such as video files (movie trailer, review clips, red carpet footage), images (movie posters, cast photos, etc.), to the content library of the project.
- Step 2: Created a design layout using KappaX interactive elements for the main screen, including a hero image of the main actors, buttons for the different content sections.
- Step 3: Assigned the uploaded media to the elements. For example, the trailer video was assigned to the "Watch Trailer" button, cast photos to the "Know The Cast" button, and the booking link was assigned to the "Book Tickets" button.
- Step 4: Added interactivity on the elements by writing simple statements.
For example, clicking the "Take The Quiz" button would 'Show Quiz Interface', and clicking the "Book Tickets" button would 'Redirect to BookMyShow'. Clicking a content section like "Know The Cast" would 'Show Cast Info'. - Step 5: Tested, previewed, and published to share it across different channels, ensuring all the features like video playback, quiz functionality, and ticket booking links worked perfectly on various devices.
