Emirates NBD and Etihad Guest teamed up to introduce their new Etihad Guest Credit Card. Instead of just showing a normal video, they used KappaX to create an interactive experience. 

This allowed them to introduce the card in a more exciting way, letting people engage with the benefits, watch parts about earning miles, and even answer questions that helped the banks understand them better. This made the ad much more memorable and effective.

Their goal was to create an engaging experience that clearly showed the card's value, kept people interested for longer, and helped them gather valuable insights about their audience's interests to improve future outreach and drive more applications.

What We Built

We created a dynamic interactive ad centered around the introduction of the Etihad Guest Credit Card. This allowed users to:

  • Watch an engaging video about the new credit card and its benefits, like earning Etihad Guest Miles.
  • Explore details about the card at their own pace.
  • Answer short profiling questions to help Emirates NBD understand their interests.
  • Easily find a way to apply for the card (implied by the "Apply Now to get 200,000 Etihad Guest Miles" button).

How It was Built

The exact steps we followed to create this interactive experience were:

  • Step 1: We uploaded the videos, images, and icons for the Etihad Guest Credit Card into the content library. 
  • Step 2: We designed the layout and included profiling questions within the experience to gather user information and show personalized suggestions.
  • Step 3: Then, we added logic to the elements to make them interactive. E.g: If the user selects option 1 in the first question, then navigate to ques 3 screen; else navigate to ques 2 screen.
  • Step 4: We put a clear call-to-action button "Apply Now” to get 200,000 Etihad Guest Miles. 
  • Step 5: Finally, we checked, tested for good performance, and published the interactive ad.

Results & Outcomes

The results were impressive, showing the success of the interactive ad:

  • Long Time Spent: On average, people spent almost a full minute actively playing with the Emirates NBD experience. This is a very long time for an ad, showing they were very interested.
  • Many Clicks: In each time someone used the ad, they clicked about 3 times. This shows they were really looking at everything and exploring.
  • Valuable Answers: On average, people answered 3 questions about themselves. This gave Emirates NBD helpful information about the people seeing their ads.

This interactive ad helped Emirates NBD and Etihad Guest introduce their credit card in a highly engaging way, keeping people interested for longer and gathering important customer information for better future marketing.
