Welcome to KappaX! This guide walks you through signing up, verifying your email, and setting up your first workspace - everything you need to start creating interactive experiences.
Creating Your Account
You have two ways to sign up:
Option A: Sign up with Google
- Click Sign up with Google on the signup page
- Authorize KappaX with your Google account
- You'll land on a Legal Agreement page - review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click Accept to continue
- You're in and ready to go
Option B: Sign up with Email
- Head to the signup page
- Enter your email address
- Create a password - it needs to be at least 8 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character
- Select your country from the dropdown
- Check the box to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Click Get started
Verifying Your Email
Right after signing up, you'll be asked to verify your email - this keeps your account secure.
- You'll land on the verification page automatically
- Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a 6-digit code from KappaX
- Enter the code and click Verify
- Didn't get it? Click Resend OTP to get a fresh code
Completing Onboarding
Once your email is verified, KappaX walks you through a quick setup. This helps us tailor the experience for you.
Step 1 - Your Profile
- Enter your first name and last name
- Pick your profession from the dropdown (Designer, Educator, Marketing, Engineering, etc.)
- Click Next
Step 2 - About Your Work
- Choose your role (Executive, Team Manager, Team Member, Solo-preneur, etc.)
- Select your company size
- Enter your company website
- Click Next
Step 3 - Your Workspace
This is where you decide how you'll collaborate. You have two options:
Join an existing workspace
- Browse available workspaces
- Click Join if it's open, or Request Invite if it needs approval
- You'll see Request Sent once your request is submitted
Create a new workspace
- Click Create new workspace
- Give it a name (like your company or team name)
- Anyone with a verified email from your domain can discover and join this workspace
- Click Next
Step 4 - You're Ready!
- KappaX drops you into the Get Started page
- You'll see a checklist of things to do and helpful nudge cards to guide you
The Get Started Page
Think of this as your launchpad. It has three sections to help you hit the ground running:
Checklist
- A progress bar tracks how far along you are
- Items include things like: create a project, edit it, publish it, create a widget, invite teammates, and view analytics
- Click any pending item to jump straight to that section
- Completed items move to the bottom with a checkmark
Nudge Cards
- Contextual tips that appear based on where you are in your journey
- Each card has an action button that takes you exactly where you need to go
- Some include short tutorial videos
Templates
- A preview of popular templates to kickstart your first project
- Click View all templates to browse the full library
